Refunds & Cancellation Policy
At Bharat Inlay Handicrafts, each product is handcrafted with utmost care. Due to the nature of imported and custom-made products, we have a structured Refund and Cancellation policy to ensure fairness for both parties.
1. Order Cancellation
- Before Dispatch: If the order is cancelled before it is out for delivery, the full amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.
- After Dispatch: If the order is cancelled after it is dispatched or out for delivery, shipping charges will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded to your account.
2. Reporting Defective or Damaged Products
- Products must be thoroughly inspected by the customer at the time of delivery itself.
- If any damage or defect is found, you must:
- Immediately report the issue to the Delivery Executive (Courier Person).
- Capture clear photos and videos showing the damage at the time of delivery.
- Email all evidence to info@bharatinlayhandicrafts.com within 12 hours of delivery.
- Failure to report at the time of delivery will result in rejection of refund or replacement requests.
3. Refund for Damaged Products
If proper damage evidence is submitted and verified:
- Shipping charges will be deducted.
- The balance amount will be refunded to your original payment method.
4. Exchange for Damaged Products
Instead of refund, if the customer wishes, we can offer an exchange of the same or similar product (subject to availability) after deducting shipping charges.
5. Non-Eligible Conditions
- No returns or refunds will be accepted for slight variations in color, texture, or minor handcrafting marks as they signify the authenticity of handcrafted goods.
- Returns or refunds are not accepted if the product is found damaged after delivery acceptance without proper inspection.
- Customized orders are strictly non-refundable unless damaged at delivery and properly reported.
6. Timeline for Refunds
Approved refunds are initiated within 7-10 business days after verification. The time taken by banks to credit the amount may vary depending on your payment method.
